Night train in France (Intercité de Nuit)
One of the best ways to travel in France is to take the night train. These trains can be booked up to 90 days in advance. The carrier offers carriages with couchettes, which are extremely comfortable and guarantee maximum privacy for travellers. After a night on the train, the passenger is sure to be rested. Professional and friendly staff welcome everyone on board and take care of even the smallest detail to make the journey enjoyable. Upon request, the train staff will wake the traveller at a specific time. Upon boarding, the couchette is prepared and waiting for the passenger, as well as, for example, earplugs, refreshing and hygiene wipes. On the route to and from Paris, in the First Class compartments, the train staff will treat you to breakfast, which is included in the ticket price. For the utmost security, all compartments have been fitted with locks, so every passenger can sleep soundly.
Rail for comfort
Another way of travelling by night train is to travel in special reclining seats, which also guarantee a high level of comfort. The seats have a footrest, headrest and lamp, allowing you to read or work while guaranteeing peace and quiet for your fellow passengers. There is also no problem to book a whole compartment if you are travelling with friends or family. There are four beds in the first class compartment and six in the second class.Even if a passenger is travelling alone, or with two or three people, they can book the whole compartment.

Night trains have an offer specifically aimed at women. If the passenger is a woman and travelling alone, she can count on a special compartment that guarantees maximum safety and privacy. This single-seat compartment is booked completely free of charge. For greater comfort, the sleeping berth is located right next to the train staff compartment. This will ensure a quiet, peaceful and, most importantly, safe night journey.
